Supported databases

Database choices are deployment-dependent. The create-connection form and the connection metadata returned in your current workspace are the source of truth for selectable types.

DataFact can expose external, cloud, or existing internal source modes according to capability configuration. Existing internal sources can remain visible even when users cannot create new ones.

Compatibility checks

A type being listed does not guarantee that a specific endpoint is reachable. A usable connection must pass the connection test and return schemas before it can be saved through the current flow. Network access, credentials, database permissions, and source configuration remain external prerequisites.
