Inspect chunks and source content
After a document reaches Success, select its file name to open the chunk detail page.
Find and inspect a chunk
- Review the file metadata and total chunk count.
- Use Search content… and the chunk-type filter to narrow the current result set.
- Read chunk content and expand long text when needed.
- For a PDF chunk with usable source positions, select the content to locate and highlight the related PDF region.
- Use Preview original file to inspect supported original content.
Search and filters are applied through the current chunk query. Reset them before concluding that a chunk is missing.
Maintain chunks
When actions are available, you can:
- add a chunk with non-empty content;
- edit content, keywords, and example questions;
- enable or disable a chunk;
- select chunks for batch enable, disable, or deletion; and
- delete a chunk after confirmation.
Deletion cannot be undone from the product interface. Editing a chunk changes indexed content, not the original PDF or source file. A later re-chunk operation can overwrite manual edits.
Evidence limitation
PDF highlighting depends on usable position data. A missing highlight does not prove the text is absent; inspect the original document and processing status.
