Build again after a failure

The current interface does not retry a failed version in place. A new attempt creates a new version through the same Build New Version flow.

Review the failure

1. Open Knowledge Versions.
2. Filter for Failed when needed.
3. Open the visible error message from the status cell, if one is provided.
4. Check the model's primary database connection and remove unavailable knowledge-source references.
5. Correct the input or source problem supported by the evidence. Do not infer a root cause when no error detail is available.

Start another attempt

1. Select Build New Version in the model header.
2. Choose a Completed baseline.
3. Confirm the build.
4. Track the new version to a terminal state.

The failed version itself is not a baseline candidate. No row-level Retry action is exposed in the current version table.

Expected result

A separate version record represents the new attempt. The failed version remains available until it is eligible for deletion and you explicitly remove it.
