Update or withdraw feedback
Update feedback
- Select the current highlighted thumb to reopen its details, or select the other thumb to change the rating type.
- Update the available reasons or comment.
- Save the feedback.
Saving replaces the current active feedback state for that user and answer. It does not create multiple simultaneously active ratings.
Withdraw feedback
Press and hold the currently selected thumb for approximately three seconds. A progress ring shows the hold. Releasing or moving away before it completes cancels the withdrawal.
After a successful withdrawal, the answer returns to an unselected feedback state.
Important limitations
- Withdrawal is available only when the host supplies the capability and the feedback is editable.
- A negative feedback record becomes locked when its visible handling status is Processing, Optimizing, or Processed. Locked feedback cannot be changed, switched, or withdrawn from the answer control.
- Withdrawal removes the current active feedback from the user's view; it does not promise physical deletion of every audit record.
Errors and recovery
If the service reports that feedback is no longer editable, refresh the Session to load its current handling state. A failed withdrawal leaves the current feedback selected.
