Each stage has a different responsibility. Connections and the Document Library identify sources. MemoryLake makes those sources usable by supported workflows. Knowledge adds business context. An Agent selects model behavior and resources. A Session carries a request and response. Feedback and Test Sets help people review outcomes.

Failure at a later stage does not prove an earlier stage is invalid, and success at an earlier stage does not guarantee an accurate answer.
