Configure knowledge sources

Knowledge sources are references used when building an Analysis Model version. They are separate from the model's primary database connection, which is fixed at creation.

Associate a source

  1. Open the Analysis Model and select Knowledge Sources.
  2. Select Associate Source.
  3. Choose one of the source types offered by the current model template.
  4. Select an available resource.
  5. If source tags are offered, select an available tag as required by the form.
  6. Confirm the association.

Current templates can offer database data sources and Documents (Lite) resources. The template remains authoritative; do not assume both types or the same tag set are available for every model.

Maintain sources

Each row identifies the source type, referenced resource, and source tag when present. Current actions can update the tag or delete the association. Changing the association itself requires deleting it and associating the intended resource.

A source tag can be unavailable when another source of the same type already occupies it. Select only enabled options.

Unavailable sources

If a referenced resource was deleted, the row is marked unavailable. One or more unavailable sources block a new build. Delete the affected association, or use the provided clear-unavailable action and confirm it, before building again.

Deleting a source association does not delete the underlying database connection or Documents (Lite) resource.
