Supported databases

DataFact cloud supports Supabase, PostgreSQL, and MySQL as selectable structured-data connection choices. The create-connection form in your current workspace remains the source of truth for availability because private deployments can expose a different configured set.

Supabase is PostgreSQL-compatible, but it is presented as its own source choice so the connection can follow the Supabase project configuration. Existing internal sources can remain visible even when users cannot create new ones.

Compatibility checks

A type being listed does not guarantee that a specific endpoint is reachable. A usable connection must pass the connection test and return schemas before it can be saved through the current flow. Network access, transport security, credentials, database permissions, and source configuration remain external prerequisites.
