Workspaces and resource scope

The active workspace supplies the context for DataFact queries and changes. Resource lists, selectable dependencies, and available actions can differ after switching workspaces.

Some resources, such as Agents, can have personal or team scope. Personal scope is intended for the creator; team scope can make a resource visible to members of the current team. Actual records and actions remain constrained by the service and corresponding permission.

Key rules

• Confirm the active workspace before creating, editing, or deleting a resource.
• A resource visible in one workspace is not automatically visible in another.
• A visible button is a user-interface affordance, not the security boundary.
• Scope is not the same as an embedded publishing mode.
