View version details
Open Knowledge Versions to inspect the current version card and the paginated version table.
Read the version table
The table can show:
- version identifier, with the initial version displayed as
init; - build status;
- baseline version;
- build time and duration when available;
- whether the version is current; and
- available row actions.
Filter by a partial version identifier or an exact build status, then apply the filters. A Latest tag identifies the greatest version identifier; it does not mean the version is current.
Open details
The View action is shown only for a version that reports a build engine. The detail dialog can show version basics and a read-only snapshot of the knowledge sources captured for that build.
An empty snapshot can be valid, especially for the initial version. If a source name can no longer be resolved, the dialog can fall back to its stored identifier.
Interpret status carefully
- Created, preparing, and building are displayed as building states.
- Completed means the version can be selected for editing and activation.
- Failed can include a visible error message; it is not eligible as a baseline.
- Missing duration or build time is shown as an empty value and must not be converted into a guessed duration.
