Edit or remove a database connection
The database list provides Build, Edit, and Delete actions when they are available to you.
Edit a connection
- Open the row actions and select Edit.
- Update the editable name, description, username, optional replacement password, table filter rule, or Schema selection.
- Select Test Connection again.
- Confirm at least one Schema remains selected.
- Select Save.
The source type, host, port, database, and cloud resource ID are fixed after creation in the current interface. Create a replacement connection if those values must change. Existing internal connections are retained but new internal connections cannot currently be created.
Build database structure
Select Build to refresh the database structure used by the detail view. Build is disabled while a build version is already in progress. A started notification means the task was accepted, not that it has completed successfully.
Delete a connection
- Select Delete from the row actions.
- Read the irreversible-action warning and any displayed downstream impact.
- Confirm deletion only if the connection is no longer needed.
Deletion can be rejected when another resource still refers to the connection. Remove or replace the dependency through its own supported workflow, then retry.
