A report generation task failed

1. Open AI Reports > Report Records and locate the failed task.
2. Record the returned error, task ID, template, and Documents (Excel) resource.
3. Confirm that the selected documents still have DONE parsing status and that mapped worksheet names still exist.
4. Use Retry to rerun the same task inputs, or start a separate generation flow if the template, source, or mappings need to change.
5. Track the resulting task state; accepted retry does not mean completion.

Do not infer a cause when no detailed error is returned. AI Reports is Preview and can use different execution paths by deployment.
