Product documentation
A feature is read-only
- Check whether the page displays an explicit read-only notice.
- Review the resource state. Building versions, failed versions, or incomplete documents can restrict editing.
- Distinguish an immutable field from an entirely read-only resource. For example, an Agent resource kind or Dataset source can stay locked while other fields remain editable.
- Confirm that you are in the intended workspace and have corresponding permission.
- If the product suggests copying a resource into your own workspace, follow that visible workflow before editing the copy.
Do not assume read-only always means an access problem. State, resource type, protected version, or deployment guidance can each cause it.
