Update or remove documents

The Documents (Lite) detail page provides document actions according to processing state, file type, source URL, and your available access.

Available actions

• Use the Enabled switch to include or exclude a document from retrieval. The switch is unavailable while parsing or canceling.
• Use Parse File, Stop Parsing, or Parse Again according to the current state.
• Use Settings to change document-level chunking when processing is idle.
• Use Preview for a supported file type when preview is available.
• Use Download when a source URL is available.
• Use Delete File after reading the confirmation.

With selected rows, Batch Parse, Batch Stop, and Batch Delete can apply to eligible documents. A batch action can complete for some rows and fail for others; inspect the resulting states rather than assuming all-or-nothing success.

Delete carefully

Deleting a document removes it from this Documents (Lite) resource and stops it from participating in retrieval here. It does not provide an undo action. The original Document Library item is a separate resource; do not assume that deleting one automatically deletes the other.
