Understand queued requests

A request can enter a queue when execution capacity is not immediately available. Queued work has been accepted for waiting but has not started its full execution.

Read the queue state

The answer area shows Waiting in queue. When position information is available, DataFact can also show the current position and wording that reflects the expected wait. A position is not guaranteed and can change as work is scheduled.

Choose an action

  • Wait: keep the Session available. DataFact continues when capacity becomes available.
  • Cancel response: stop the queued request if you no longer need it.

Do not submit the same question again just because it is queued. Duplicate requests can create additional work and do not guarantee an earlier result.

After a refresh or reconnect

DataFact uses the saved response state to continue recoverable queued or in-progress work. Reopening the Session can therefore show the same run continuing. If recovery is not possible, the answer shows an error instead of silently claiming completion.

When to request support

If the queue state does not change for an unexpectedly long time, capture the Agent name, Session title, approximate submission time, and visible queue message. Do not include passwords or access tokens.
